Wilhelm Bauer is a partner to the plastic film, sheet metal and paper manufacturing industry. We process rolls mechanically and galvanically that are used, for example, for film extrusion. We are specialized in the machining of rolls which have to cope with extremely low tolerances during use. We are one of the few companies that are able to process calender rolls. This is one of the reasons why customers from all over the world trust us and have their rolls coated and finished by us.
Customers are our R&D department because they constantly confront us with new specific tasks.
What drives us
New electroplating building
Wilhelm Bauer is always developing. We are currently planning the new construction of our electroplating facility. Because of this we are combining two of our sites and creating completely new production standards for electroplating work. Besides we are investing in the expansion of our site in Hanover in order to secure the production location in the long term. When the new electroplating facility starts work, we will also fulfil the strictest emission standards in the future.
This will enable us to achieve three-dimensional growth in technology, safety and environmental protection.
